At Next Bat Up, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. This policy outlines the return terms and conditions for bat rentals and purchases. Please read carefully to understand your rights and obligations.
1. Bat Rentals
The following applies to bats that have been rented from Next Bat Up.
Notification of Rental Termination
- You must notify us at sales@nextbatup.com by the 30th day of your rental if you intend to end the lease and return the bat.
- Upon notification, we will email you a prepaid shipping label for the return. The cost of return shipping will be covered by Next Bat Up.
- You may return the bat in the same box in which it was delivered. If you no longer have your box, you will need to purchase a box at your expense.
- You must return the bat within seven (7) business days of Next Bat Up’s provision of the shipping label. If the bat is not received within this period, you will be charged for the following 30-day rental period, and up to five (5) additional 30-day rental periods or until the bat is received by Next Bat Up, after either of which the lease will terminate.
Damaged Bats
- If the bat breaks, is dented, cracked, or damaged through normal wear and tear (hitting baseballs), you may exchange it for a similar bat.
- Within the First 15 Days: If the bat is damaged within the first 15 days of the then-current rental period, a new 30-day rental period (without additional charge) will begin when the replacement bat is shipped.
- After 15 Days: If the bat is damaged after the first 15 days of the then-current rental period, an additional 15 days will be added to the rental period upon the shipping of the replacement bat.
- Damage from Non-Baseball Use: If on receipt by Next Bat Up it is determined that the bat is damaged by hitting items other than baseballs (e.g., chain link fences, metal posts, concrete, brick walls), the return will NOT be accepted. The damaged bat will be shipped back to you at your expense, and you will be charged for the retail value of the damaged bat as of commencement of the lease.
Proof of Purchase
- Online Purchases: Please retain your order confirmation email as proof of purchase.
- In-Person Purchases: Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
Condition Assessment
The condition of returned bats, whether damaged or not, will be determined based on the manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to the specific manufacturer’s warranty for the bat you rented or purchased.
2. Additional Information
- Store Credit: Next Bat Up does not offer store credit.
- Refunds on Rented Bats: No refunds are offered for rented bats.
- Refunds on Purchased Bats: No refunds are offered for purchased bats.
